To celebrate the launch of Bone House, a new collection from Moyra Donaldson, Doire Press, in conjunction with Aspects Festival is delighted to offer a free two-hour creative writing workshop with Moyra.
The workshop will look at examples of contemporary poetry of place and will offer writing prompts, with time to write and discuss ideas.

Moyra Donaldson is a poet and creative writing facilitator from Co Down. She has published nine collections of poetry, including a Selected Poems and in 2019, Carnivorous from Doire Press. She has been involved in various collaborations with visual artists, most recently with Wexford artist Paddy Lennon which resulted in the limited-edition publication of artwork and poems, Blood Horses. She has also worked with Big Telly Theatre Company on a number of projects.
In 2019, she received a Major Individual Artist award from the Arts Council of Northern Ireland.
Also widely published in magazines, journals and anthologies in both Europe, Australia and the USA, she has read at festivals in Europe, Canada and America.
Her new collection, Bone House, is published by Doire Press 2021.
